Kimi Raikkonen, the 2007 Formula One driver's world champions has been a supporter of SOS Children's Villages since 2003. Kimi paid a much-awaited visit to the Finnish SOS Children's Village in Tapiola, near Helsinki in 2003. Finland's motor racing hero is financially supporting the humanitarian work of the international children's welfare organisation in Finland and Hungary.
The children enjoyed Raikkonen's visit and got on well with the then 24-year-old. Raikkonen is financially supporting the work of SOS Children's Villages in Finland and Hungary. "It's good to be in a position to support a very worthy children's organisation. I hope that my action will also help to raise awareness for the large numbers of children in need," he said. Kimi visit after he invited two children from the Finnish SOS Children's Village in Tapiola to be guests on Kimi Raikkonen's yacht during the Monaco Grand Prix.
