SOS Children’s Villages is a member of the advisory board of the The Better Care Network (BCN), a network of organisations and individuals who wish to exchange and collaborate on the issue of children without parental care.
Information exchange, collaboration and research
The Better Care Network was formed in 2003 in order to support information exchange, collaboration and research among the growing number of organisations and individuals working on the issue of children without parental care.
SOS Children's Villages: Member of advisory board
The network operates a contact list of over 2,000 contacts, including NGOs, decision-makers and practitioners. SOS Children's Villages International is a member of the advisory board, which advises on strategic priorities, promotes the aims and activities of the network, and contributes to network initiatives. Additionally, BCN and SOS Children’s Villages are currently co-chairing the NGO Committee on UNICEF’s Working Group on Children without Parental Care in New York.
