NGO Committee on UNICEF 

SOS Children's Villages is a long-standing member of the New York-based NGO Committee on UNICEF, a world-wide network of over 80 NGOs that fosters partnership between NGOs and UNICEF locally and internationally.

For more than 50 years, the NGO Committee on UNICEF has provided research, analysis, insight, and perspective on the work of UNICEF.

The Committee encourages discussion and cooperation among NGOs, and engages in diverse activities including advocacy, publications, and participation in international forums.

SOS Children's Villages: Member of governing board

SOS Children’s Villages is currently a member the governing board of this committee and as such works with UNICEF on promoting and strengthening partnerships between UNICEF and NGOs. Additionally, SOS Children’s Villages co-chairs the committee’s Working Group on Children without Parental Care.
