Kids at the SOS Children's Village Islice were delighted to welcome Lou and her entourage to their premises. Although Lou admitted that it hadn't been easy to find time for the visit, she said: "When I look into children's eyes I see luck. If you are as famous as I am in Germany, you must do these kinds of things to show the world how children live in an SOS Children's Village."
Together with her band, Lou performed her Eurovision Contest song "Let's get happy" for the children, while they in turn sang songs for the singer and her entourage of 30 people. The guests thrilled the children with gifts such as posters and CDs.
Lou and her team also visited a family house at the SOS Children's Village and were invited for coffee and cakes. Many excited children constantly surrounded Lou throughout her visit. The singer was kept busy giving autographs, posing for photographs and talking with the children. The visit was an overall success!
