Laney has been busy painting - creating a number of art pieces and selling them at local craft sales throughout the city in order to raise money for the children of South Africa.
Laney came up with the idea after learning about SOS Children’s Villages from her mother.
Her mother had just attended a fundraising event for the cause and was quite moved about the work that SOS is doing in South Africa.
After learning more, Laney was eager to help and started painting right away, creating a number of wonderful pieces.
100% of the proceeds from all of her paintings sold will be donated to the new SOS Children’s Villages in Rustenburg, South Africa.
