Miss Universe Canada Organization to host fundraising event for SOS Children’s Villages - June 16th in Toronto  Orphan Run is holding its 6th Annual Charity Run on May 8, 2011, 11:00am at Erindale Park, Mississauga.  In 2010 the Fixed Floaters raised over $30,000 for the SOS Children's Village in Kigali, Rwanda and placed 3rd in the Bankers' Cup in the Toronto International Dragon Boat Festival. This year, they’re aiming to raise an astonishing $100,000 for SOS Children's Villages!  A former volunteer with SOS Children’s Villages United Kingdom, Silver began her travels last June in Whitehorse and 2500km later she has managed to reach dozens of groups in her efforts to spread the word about SOS Children’s Villages around the world.
