SOS Children's Villages in Busigny
The SOS Children's Village Busigny is situated in the small town of the same name with approx. 2500 inhabitants in the Department Nord-Pas de Calais, about 10 km southeast of Lille and approx. 100 km east of Amiens. It is surrounded by fields and little woods and is the only French SOS Children's Village located in a rural area.
The SOS Children's Village Busigny consists of twelve family houses and one community centre where offices and rooms for different social activities are accommodated. The buildings of the SOS Children's Village are grouped around a spacious central place that is used as a playground by the about 60 children living at the SOS Children's Village.
