SOS Children's Villages was delighted to welcome Cameroon's national team player Samuel Eto'o as a "FIFA for SOS Children's Villages Ambassador" for his country. Eto'o is a revelation not only at his Spanish club FC Barcelona, which he joined in the summer of 2004.
The striker was voted Africa's Player of the Year in 2004 and also helped his country lift the African Cup of Nations trophy in 2000 and 2002, as well as Olympic gold at the 2000 Sydney Games.
