SOS Children’s Villages Canada listed among the Top 100 Charities for 2026
SOS Children’s Villages Canada has been recognized as one of Charity Intelligence’s Top 100 Rated Charities for 2026, earning the highest possible five-star rating in its annual assessment of Canadian charities.
Announced on October 8, 2026, the list recognizes organizations based on criteria including financial transparency, results reporting and demonstrated impact. The recognition reflects SOS Children’s Villages Canada’s commitment to sharing information about its activities and achievements, including making audited financial statements publicly available.
Creating lasting change for children and families
At SOS Children’s Villages, we believe that every child and young person deserves to grow up with the care, protection and relationships they need to thrive.
With the generous support from our donors and partners, we take a holistic, child and youth-centred approach to help children, young people, families, and communities succeed in the long term. We strengthen families to prevent separation, provide loving homes for children in need, support the most vulnerable during disasters and emergencies, and educate and empower children and youth to reach their full potential and break the cycle of poverty for themselves and future generations.
In 2025, SOS Children’s Villages reached more than 7.9 million children, young people and adults worldwide, supporting individuals and families to build stronger, more resilient futures.
