The Art of Giving

Canadian artist Ana Maria “Nena” Rutenberg has created Art & Philanthropy and fully donates to charity all the original art work displayed on her website www.artandphilanthropy.ca

Ana Maria, who signs her art as “Nena”, enjoyed a successful career as a graphic designer for more than 25 years. Since 1996, she has fully dedicated her time to the production of fine art.

Each piece of her artwork is an original; there is only one of each, except for the photographic prints.

Her work has been recognized with several art awards and her paintings are part of private collections in Mexico, Germany, the USA and Canada. Ana Maria studied art and design in Mexico, Italy and Germany and has been recognized as one of the first women in design.

Patrons are invited to purchase a piece of art. They will receive an acknowledgement that a donation has been made in their honour, to help orphaned and abandoned children around the world.
