Canadian Latin Jazz sensation donates proceeds of her new single to SOS Children’s Villages
In June 2010, Ms. Martinez traveled to Johannesburg, South Africa to perform as part of the FIFA fan fests during the World Cup Celebrations.
She performed her new song Sueños Posibles (Dreams Realized) written in honor of the opening game at the World cup (Mexico vs. South Africa) in tribute to her South African mother and Mexican father.
While she saw many wondrous and beautiful things during her time in South Africa, Ms. Martinez also saw the plight of vulnerable children.
Upon her return to Canada, Ms. Martinez decided to take action and support the orphaned and abandoned children in her parents’ countries of birth. She is doing this by kindly donating all the proceeds of Sueños Posibles in support of SOS South Africa and SOS Mexico.
