Cirque du Soleil

SOS Children’s Villages and world renowned entertainment company Cirque du Soleil have established a global partnership focused on empowering vulnerable children and youth.

Cirque du Soleil has spent more than 20 years building Cirque du Monde^TM, a program designed to help vulnerable children and youth develop life skills that are vital for healthy relationships, academic success, future employability and successful integration into the community.

In partnership with Cirque du Soleil, SOS Children’s Villages is incorporating Cirque du Monde inspired programming into its work with vulnerable children and youth.

SOS Social Circus programs were first piloted in Mexico City and Huehuetoca, Mexico, in 2014. The program has now expanded to Brazil, Peru and South Africa.
