In 2017, SOS Children’s Villages and Victoria Village Group of Companies joined together in a shared belief that every child deserves to grow, learn and play in a caring environment that promotes optimal early childhood development.

Victoria Village Group of Companies is a diversified early care and education provider that owns and operates licensed and inspected childcare centres, private home daycares, and CCMA accredited Montessori Private Schools.

Drawing on Victoria Village Group’s expertise in early childhood development and SOS Children’s Villages’ 50 years of experience in protecting vulnerable children and supporting vulnerable families in Uganda, The Gunjula Project was created. This project is an initiative to give vulnerable children the best chance at a bright future – and aims to provide 1,200 disadvantaged children in Uganda with access to quality early child development services.
