Food for Thought in Ottawa
The Kenyan Students Association of Carleton University in Ottawa will be holding its second annual event supporting SOS Children's Villages.
Initiated by Christian Josiah, the son of the former Kenyan Ambassador to Canada, the Kenyan Students Association has been a club at the University for the past four years.
Last year, members raised more than $1,500 for SOS at a dinner which featured an eclectic mix of Kenyan cuisine, dancing and poetry. Organizers plan to make this year's event bigger and better and hope to continue the tradition for years to come.
On November 25th this year the students held their second annual event. It was a large success, with many of the Ottawa Community members in attendance. Please continue to check back with us on this website for additional information.
