Danyka is helping orphaned and abandened kids one step at a time!

Danyka, age 7, learned one day that children in some parts of the world don't have enough food to eat.  Her instant reaction was one of surprise and shock -but she has turned her surprise into action.  She is currently raising money to help SOS Children's Villages support some of the most vulnerable children in the world.

That's a big task for a primary-schooler, but she is up for it.  She's decided to start walking the neighborhood dogs in exchange for a donation to SOS - raising money for orphaned children one step at a time.  By the time World Orphan Week rolls around, the money raises each month will be enough to sponsor a village through SOS Children's Villages Canada.
