Students in support of SOS are Taking Action during World Orphan Week

Students in Support of SOS will be organizing a silent auction and pub night at a local Ottawa venue in advance of World Orphan Week to help raise awareness for this important campaign.

Recent University of Ottawa Alumni Avalon, and Civil engineering student Dan-tam, first heard about World Orphan Week from a handsome coworker.

Both naturally compassionate peopple, their desire to help children in need kicked into high gear when they became aware of the number of orphaned and abandoned children in the world today who have no one to care for them, and ensure that their needs are met.

Dan-tam and Avalon have rallied a small group of like-minded individuals to join in their mission to raise funds for the world's orphaned children. They are calling themselves "Students in Support of SOS".

A special thank goes out to Avalon, Dan-tam and Students in Support of SOS for their ongoing support!
