Trike Across Canada

Sunday, August 18, 2013

Tana Silverland is spending over two years cycling across the length and breadth of Canada on her recumbent trike, visiting as many communities as possible to introduce them to SOS Children’s Villages by talking to the local media and presenting to groups at every chance she gets.

A former volunteer with SOS Children’s Villages United Kingdom, Silver began her travels in June 2010 in Whitehorse and will be reaching out to literally hundreds of communities in her efforts to spread the word about SOS Children’s Villages around the world, before she finally arrives on the east coast of Newfoundland in the fall of 2012.

Tana Silverland (Silver to her friends) has also set up a blog, http://tanasilverland.wordpress.com A Place to Call Home to share her adventure.
