In India proceeds supported:
The Learning Centre at SOS Children’s Village – Cochin
This new centre has now been equipped with 6 computers, educational
CDs and interactive programs
The SOS Children’s Villages Social Centre in Roukela
This new Social Centre has been holding training workshops on
cooking, tailoring, an awareness camp on HIV-AIDS and a
skin care and dental care camp
In Pakistan proceeds supported:
Emergency Relief and reconstruction of SOS Children’s Village - Muzaffarabad
After providing thousands of earth-quake disaster victims with aid, SOS has focused on assisting the children who have been left on their own as well as reconstructing the SOS Children’s Village in Muzaffarabad.
This SOS Village was seriously damaged during the earthquake and while there has been bad weather construction work is continuing
