ditions mean that many parents cannot care for their children as well as they would like to. SOS recognizes that helping a family at risk could mean simply making sure that schools fees and uniforms are paid for so that children can go to school.

The vicious poverty cycle can be broken only if the appropriate support is given. SOS Children's Villages is available for these parents.  We offer them strength and support, as well as a path to security.

SOS strives to not only make education accessible for all children involved in the Family Strengthening Programme, but to also make sufficient educational facilities available thorugh SOS kindergartens and SOS schools.

SOS also works to support local schools, offering training and workshops to teachers in the community. In this way, SOS helps to guarantee a quality education for all child regardless if they live with their biological families or in family-based care.
