Contribution from Apotex to help pregnant women and newborns in Ethiopia

SOS Children’s Villages Canada is pleased to announce a generous contribution from Apotex, a global Canadian pharmaceutical company renowned for producing high-quality, affordable medicines for patients worldwide. Through this donation, essential medications will be delivered to pregnant women and newborns in the Amhara region of Ethiopia, supporting SOS Children’s Villages to restock public health facilities. Particularly those impacted by armed conflict in Ethiopia so that they can continue to deliver life-saving medical services.
Since 1974, SOS Children's Villages has been committed to supporting Ethiopia, initially in response to famine. Over the decades, our efforts have broadened to assist more vulnerable families and children throughout the country, maintaining a strong presence in seven regions, including the Amhara region.
