Viennese Ball of Montreal: Celebrating tradition and the future of young people in the Dominican Republic

For more than 60 years, the Austrian Society of Montreal has brought the splendour and elegance of Vienna’s famous ball season to the city – an evening of music, dancing, and cultural tradition, all while raising funds for important causes.
This year, a portion of the proceeds will once again support SOS Children’s Villages Canada, helping young people in the Dominican Republic prepare for brighter futures. In Los Mina, SOS youth programs are empowering 112 young people who have lost or are at risk of losing parental care by providing life skills, resources, and guidance for independent living, employment, and long-term success.
The Viennese Ball is more than a glamorous evening filled with fine dining, entertainment, and dancing until dawn. It is also an opportunity to come together across cultures and generations to support children and young people.
Austria’s ball season is a cherished tradition that extends far beyond Europe. Montreal has proudly hosted its Viennese Ball since 1962, and each year since has supported SOS Children’s Villages.
Join us for an unforgettable evening that combines elegance with impact.
